The Federal Twist Wines

To us, wine is about friends, family, and socializing. Like our family, our vineyard is always growing.
Our wine is crafted with all of our own estate grown grapes. We believe wine is a reflection of the land and we work to make the best wine possible from the grapes. We handpicked varietals that we believe can thrive in our soil and are sustainable for east coast weather conditions.

Fed Red – Chambourcin
Chambourcin is a hardy red French hybrid that’s known for yielding blackberry flavors with low tannins and juicy acidity.

Vidal Blanc
A hardy French hybrid that’s caught on in colder climates of North America that was developed in the mid-20th century.

Rosé
We use Chambourcin grapes to craft our Rosé. In contrast to our Chambourcin wine, we harvest the grapes earlier, when they’re higher in acidity. When the grapes are pressed, we don’t allow the skins to have any contact with the juice. Hence, the especially light hue.

Rosé Petillant Natural Sparkling Wine
Our petillant natural is made by a method that’s been around so long that the French term for it is methode ancestrale. All you need to know is that it’s an unpretentious, refreshing sparkling wine on the sweeter end of the spectrum.

Hey Bett
Hey Bett is Federal Twist’s take on a long standing European tradition of creating “field” blends of different grapes from ones vineyard.
A blend with a crisp acidity balanced with a slightly sweet finish – Hey Bett is a refreshing wine to be enjoyed with friends and family on any occasion.
